Business Management

4 tools to help with productivity

When working, it helps to have a few tools that can help you with your productivity when running your business. Below you will find 4 of the best tools that I have found that can help you maximize your time and get the most from your work.

1. Canva

Canva is great for making everything from presentations to videos to graphics for social media. Canva does have a free option, but if you want to get the most out of Canva, I would suggest their Pro Plan. It is around $20/month, plus you get access to lots of graphics and templates. I use this to create my Social Media campaigns and ads for my websites. If just using it for one website, you can even save your branding colors so that you don’t have to search them up each time you create something. With the Pro Plan, you can even schedule posts.

2. Asana

This is a great project management tool. Coordinate all tasks for any project with Asana. Asana offers a Basic plan at no cost with multiple project boards. They also have a paid version for Teams and a Business plan. This allows you to coordinate tasks among all employees.

3. Wave Accounting

Wave allows you to manage all of your accounting needs. It is free to use for just the accounting, but if you decide to use it for payroll, there is a small fee depending on the number of employees. With Wave, you can set up your accounts, and if you sell online, they will even import your sells for some programs.

4. Trello

Trello is similar to Asana, but the free version only supports one project board at a time. The prices are reasonable for multiple boards or teams, depending on your business’s needs. The difference is that Trello is for on the go. They have an app that allows you to stay up to date with your projects while away from your computer. If you have a business that requires you to be out and about, this project manager app is made for you.
