My Handmade Business: Getting Organized

Clutter, clutter everywhere. Seriously.

I feel like I have been unpacking for a year when it has only been just 2 months. I moved into my space in April, but I have been steadily unpacking and organizing every since.

One thing is for certain, when you have to run a business, it is best to be organized. Organizing your space helps you to work efficiently and effortlessly. One of the first things that I did was to decide where things were going to go. The second thing I did was to clear out my work area.

There is still clutter around my work area. Nothing will change that quickly. It is going to take some time to organize everything, but I do at least have a place to work. This way, if I get an order in before it completely organized, I can complete it and ship it. I finally set up a shipping area with my labels, so I am even more ready than I was. Everything else is going to take just a little more time. While I’m working on it, I’m still working my business, and that makes a world of difference.
