When it comes to marketing your handmade jewelry, a large part of your sales is found in how you choose display your pieces. While having hanging displays with your jewelry available for purchase is nice for certain markets, note that your brand may not always be visible. Plus, if your item is purchased for gifting, the person receiving the item may not know where to buy complementary pieces with no branding available.
When I started creating handmade bracelets, earrings, and necklaces, I found that utilizing my Silhouette Cameo 4 came in handy to hanging cards where I could not only display my creations, but provide branding for my jewelry pieces.
Using your Silhouette, you only need to create cards where you can print them off and cut them to size. For example, a 4″ x 3.5″ card with your logo on it for a bracelet. To attach the bracelet, use a hole punch an punch holes on either side and then snip into the holes with a pair of scissors to create a place to attach the bracelet. On the card you can include everything from materials to size, and you can include your own personal SKU if this is something you will mass produce yourself. Placing a hole at the top can allow for you to hang your items up for display.
