The Pink Shovel Studio on Etsy is my main focus right now
Growing Your Business Handmade Business

Never too late to define your focus

Over the course of several months, I have been building up my blogs and websites. I was still feeling rather scattered, and I really wanted to step away from one particular business that I had hoped to refine into my own particular brand. I may have mentioned before that one business was a combined business between my ex-daughter-in-law and myself, and I no longer wanted to be branded that way. It was great, and while I still retain the rights as the sole owner, I needed to branch out differently. Because of this, I created The Pink Shovel Studio.

Due to the fact that this is going to be my main source of income, I decided to go all out into building up this business and have defined my focus on this business only. I went all out getting a separate number for the business and setting up many social media accounts just for this website. I need it to become a legitimate business in all sense of the word. It will also be the only business that I will be working on from this point forward.

I have already arranged to participate in two market fairs in the coming months: one in November and one in December. This is going to be a way to not only present my business to the local public, but I wanted a way to get my name out there. At some point I want to have a physical retail shop, but right now I am working out of my home where I have converted half the space into a studio. In fact, I will be uploading behind the scenes video of me working to convert part of this space sometime this week. This should be fun. Maybe.

Stay tuned as I continue to grow this side of my business.
